Oni:History
The Onimusha Clan is an ancient clan which kept the balance between the demon world and the human world. This clan was chosen to guard an ancient gate made by an evil demon known as Avaddon, the king of demons as a bridge between his world and ours.
Avaddon had a son, known to the world as Prince Lucifer, who had more of a righteous moral mind.
His son was sent to cross over to the human world to enslave the people in it and drag their souls to the pits of hell.
At first, Lucifer did just that, carelessly slaughtering everyone and anyone who opposed him. Until one day, he fell in love with a human woman.
They had a child, who he deemed the name Sparta.
Avaddon found out about this and sent his minions and loyal servants to retrieve the demon child.
Lucifer used the last of his powers to seal all the demons inside gate, using himself as the seal. Lucifer's last plight was that his child will be cursed to become the guardian of this world.
Thousands of years later, a clan called the Onimusha clan settled down in an ancient town. In the oldest building's bottom floor was a secret room containing an ancient demonic statue bound by chains to a dusty demonic door.
The head elder of the clan touched the door and was plagued by visions of demons from hell clawing at the other side of the door.
The elder awoke in the medical facility with an ancient demonic looking gauntlet permanently attached to his arm. Anyone who also touched the door, also was infected with this cursed gauntlet. It slowly started driving the villagers insane. Nothing special happened otherwise besides villagers being plagued with nightmares and a cool bronze arm piece.
One clan villager, namely Samanosuke Onimusha, learned the secret behind the gauntlet.
One day on a hunt for food, Samanosuke was attacked by a deformed demonic hell wolf. The wolf brutally wounded him. Before it went to strike the killing blow, his gauntlet opened up, revealing a purple glowing eye. The gauntlet acted like a vacuum, sucking the demonic soul into the glowing eye.
In a blink of an eye, Samanosuke was transported into a different realm. A shadowy and ghostly figure calling itself Sparta explained that Samanosuke was deemed worthy to become a Demon Slayer. He explained with his left over chakra, he infused his dying self with the demon door. If anyone touches the door and is deemed worthy, they will be blessed with his demonic powers.
The last warning Sparta gave Samanosuke was to not let the power drive you mad, the gauntlet, deemed the Oni Gauntlet, that Samanosuke now possessed was mixing demon blood into his system.
Samanosuke returned to the human world once again, unwounded and his energy fully restored.
He explained the situation to his fellow clan members, hoping that they can all learn how to control this power. Everyone in the clan deemed the power too dangerous but Samanosuke had other plans for it. He laughed with hunger for more power and disappeared into the shadows.
Rumor has it that Samanosuke traveled into the Demon Realm and never came back.
Clan Bloodline: Onimusha, the Demon Slayer Clan Element: Any Joining Requirements
-Must be first be deemed worthy by a member of the Onimusha clan.
-Then a trial in the Oni realm must be done to obtain the status of Demon Slayer, or an Onimusha.
The Oni realm is another plane of exsistance where all demons live and reside. The Onimusha clan has unlocked the secrets of traveling freely between this realm and back.
Must be accompanied by a member of the Onimusha clan.
Upon entering the Oni realm, the newbie must face several demonic beings alone until his or her life is in peril.
Once the demons, or the Oni, gain the upper hand, a mysterious black or bronze gauntlet will be equipped to the newbie's main hand, thus granting the newbie title of Onimusha, the Demon Slayer. | |
