Appearance: Upon calling out the activation phrase "Shed your tears, Iyashino Kiba!" for the first time,the Zanpakuto transforms into a necklace of one large wolf's fang 2in long and .5 inches thick at its widest curving down to a point that hangs on a thin black rope around Kirito's neck and permanently stays in that form, no longer returning to its original state. Upon the user's will, the fang will disappear and teleport in a flash of white light to appear in the user's hand as a 5ft long sword, the jet black blade 4.5ft in length and 2in wide slightly curving, a protrusion at the tip of the blade slanting back to the hilt in a 2in long curve resembling a fang. The hilt of the sword being 6in long. The fang becomes the sword at a speed of 100.

What it does: Through unlocking the potential of the wielder, the wielder gain access to latent powers hidden in their soul.  This is done by venturing into one’s soul and conversing with it. 

Upon triggering the shikai, the wielder gains an immense boost to speed and strength by compressing the newly unleashed power into the small blade of the new sword. This gives the user +70 speed, health and strength.

The blade has another innate ability to heal a person's wounds to an extent by sharing the user's chakra with the injured person through touching them with the tip of the blade. This ability heals minor scratches, flesh wounds and broken bones but cannot heal fatal injuries. This ability costs 75CP to use and the wounds heal in 1 post.

Since the form of the blade is permanently changed upon first awakening the Shikai, the abilities are only activated upon saying the release phrase out loud and the fang necklace being changed into sword form. The stat boosts gained from this only last as long as the fang is in sword form and has a cooldown of 2x number of posts used.
