Talking at a Cafe. [P]

Kirito had received a message via Gyuki to meet Taika at some cafe in Tanzaku. He didn't get any specifics on the reason but he was happy to meet with his student. He had forgotten to give him his ANBU mask anyway and had some important things to discuss with him. Kirito would appear in a yellow flash as was his usual method of travel when available. "Yo Taika."

When Kirito had shown up at Taika's location, Gyuki had apparently taken over to talk with the Hokage in a form of a prank that didn't quite work. Well, it hadn't worked on Kirito anyway. There was a strange.....thing...with Taika that seemed to be completely caught off guard at the switch. Kirito would not say anything at this point and Taika quickly swapped back with Gyuki, explaining that he had acquired a new zanpakuto and mastered Bankai, explaining his immense age difference. He had also been able to master Gyuki, which is why he had swapped places earlier, to show off to Kirito. The Hokage would smile at his student and was about to ask a question when the weird thing spoke up again.

"Wait, who's Gyuki?"


Kirito was more curious as to who or what the large green thing that was speaking was, he said just that. "What is the large green thing that can apparently speak? Oh and I have a few things for you and something I forgot to mention while making you ANBU." Kirito said finally to Taika, but glancing sideways at the green talking thing as he spoke. He would patiently wait for a response before he would come forth with the items he had brought and the information he was about to give.

"Oh. Ok. Sorry Mr. Beans. Anyway Taika I just realized I had forgotten to give you some important items." Kirito said as he pulled out the ANBU mask and Bingo Book he had brought with him and handed them both to Taika. "This is a Bingo Book, it contains information on every A rank and below missing-nin within the Land of Fire and information on every known S rank missing-nin. This is your ANBU mask to help hide your identity. It must be worn at all times unless on a covert mission that allows it to be removed." he would say after he had handed the items to Taika. "You are captain of the Hokage Personal Guard. You will lead a squad of 3 other ninja, hand picked by yourself or me. As an ANBU, no one is to know your true identity or rank besides the current Hokage. Your code name will be "Wolf" and that is how you will refer to yourself at all times, even within the village. I had forgotten to tell you some of this information when I appointed you to ANBU." Then a translucent green arm would appear holding Kirito's sword, Kubikiribocho, which Kirito took and handed to Taika as the arm disappeared. "And this is a gift for mastering Gyuki. It's name is Kubikiribocho and is one of the 7 legendary swords of the mist. Do you have any questions for me?"

Taika still lived with his father? That was something Kirito hadn't known. It presented a slight problem but one that was easily fixed. Kirito would simply provide Taika with his own apartment. He was glad to see Taika receive the items and his gift happily. "I wasn't aware you still live with your father. You will now have your own apartment close to the Hokage building. When visiting with family you may remove your mask as they must not know you are ANBU and you need to keep up appearances." Kirito thought this was an adequate solution. He would wait for Taika's response patiently.

Taika's only concern was being able to complete his duties as Uchiha clan head. This fact alone showed Kirito that Taika would make a good Hokage one day. It was a trait he looked for, putting their people before themselves, among the candidates for the Hokage seat. He knew then that he had made the right choice. Kirito was about to speak when Taika spoke up again. "It's ok if Beans knows, right? He doesn't really socialize, and he's pretty trust worthy. At worst, I'll give him a Bandanna to cover his face with while on missions." Kirito couldn't help but laugh at that. Even with a bandana covering his face, Beans would surely be recognizable. Kirito would continue laughing for about 30 seconds before regaining himself enough to answer. "I don't really think a bandanna would hide Mr. Beans identity too well Taika. But yes I think he is fine, considering I told you all of this information in front of him. The main reason no one is to know your identity is because you or the people close to you may be targeted if you are found out. Holding a position as an ANBU member is a dangerous job." Kirito would start out still laughing a little and then gradually take on a more serious tone as he began to explain the seriousness of being ANBU. He would wait for Taika's response to the new information given to him.

Everything seemed to be settled. Taika had the items Kirito wanted to give him and was informed of the rest of the rules. He wanted to know what his first mission was. Kirito thought that perhaps Taika was under the assumption he would be sent out on missions now. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. He was captain of the ANBU Hokage guard. The only missions he had were to protect and escort the Hokage himself. It wasn't the most glorious of jobs but being so close to the Hokage allowed the ANBU Hokage guard to learn from the Hokage himself. Kirito knew that he usually only picked ninja to be the Hokage guard that he thought had the potential to one day become Hokage themselves. He would have to let Taika know this it seems. "Well Wolf, being captain of the ANBU Hokage guard your only real missions would be to protect and escort the Hokage. Wherever I go, you go. I can't be sending you out on other missions, especially when you are the only member of the Hokage guard at the moment. If there were others I MAY consider sending you on a mission. So for now, your only mission is to make sure I don't get killed or assassinated." he would say to his student. It was a gloomy sort of topic to discuss but it obviously needed to be said. He hoped Taika would take the news well.
