Come on Nerd! (Io)

This was so embarrassing. Palace a member of the Uchiha clan bowing and scrapping to some clan less wretch to teach her a jutsu. It was raining and this guy had insisted that they train outside today. So humiliating. If there was anything worse than having to rely on others to do her job, it was relying on people below her. Literally below her. This guy was only a Chuuin. Apparently he was some kind of prodigy or something but still. Palace should have learned this Jutsu years ago. She trudged her way through the soft mud of the field. Her feet were clad in yellow rain boots, and she had a coat of the same color draped over her. The field was half flooded, and smelled moldy and this guy still wanted to meet, Palace gritted her teeth as the rain smacked against her face. Didn't this clanless wretch have a dojo in his house? She supposed he was too poor for that type of thing eh?

She'd have to put those thoughts out of her mind. Like it or not... not. This guy was helping her out, and she had to respect that. He didn't have to, and she had to keep calm. As long as he let her wear her rain coat they'd be fine.

See? Palace is nice... she's nice... nice.

The field was vacant for the most part. No one sane wants to train in the rain, but whatever. It wasn't her place to judge such things. She was simply the student in this matter. But god all mighty please don't make her go running around in this much. The water was up to her ankles and her toes were already freezing from the cold waters. If she actually got the rain on her... well she'd be pretty cross let's just say that.

Junny Bunny was already waiting for his student to arrive. He was spinning around like a lunny in the rain, as it came down in buckets, and loads. His longish pink hair was stuck to his face, the rain had weighed it down so much it'd lost most of it's usual bounce. It'd been a good while since he'd finally gotten to let loose a little bit. It felt fantastic. His lithe and girlish body spun around the field. His canvas sneakers were soaked beyond all reason as the trounced through the rain water. His skinny jeans had water rushing down them, and his white dress shirt clung to his chest heavily.

He was rather honored that a member of the Uchiha clan had asked him to train her. While a part of him was stoked that someone had recognized his abilities, another part of him was a little apprehensive. They were Uchiha after all, and Jun did have something that they valued just a little too much. Just in case he'd do his best to hide that little attribute from is future student.

Jun saw Palace approaching with a look on her face that said that she wasn't too stoked to be approach. He'd try to warm her up, so his plump lips spread into a smile and he waved at her. "Hey Palace! Glad you could make it! Isn't this Rain awesome. You know I hear in the country to the north It rains every single day of the year! Isn't that cool? I think I'd get bored of it after a while though. Are you ready to learn how to flicker?"

Palace still couldn't believe that this guy... girl... thing was the one who was teaching her. He was just so... cute! Haha Palace loved her! She couldn't help but get the worm fuzzies when the boy talked and sought to teach her the ways of the body flicker. You know that's a sign that a guy likes you, when they try to teach you something. Totally true.

She listened with wrapped attention as he spoke. Though her unexpected liking of the boy, was heavily tempered with her disdain of being out in the rain.

Okay so a body flicker is just you using a burst of chakra to give you a boost of speed? That should be easy enough. Palace copied Jun's Hand seals, all one of them, and sent her chakra forth, soaring across the field like a graceful swan.

This is of course skipping over a least an hour of practice and hard work. By the end of the day her clothes were soaking, but she'd learned a new jutsu, and even earned a new friend! She hoped.

532 Claiming body flicker, and leeeeaving the thread.

Of course Palace had gained a new friend. Jun absolutely adored meeting a new people. Jun wasn't a complete idiot tough. He could tell that at first Palace was a little reluctant to be learning from a Chuunin. However Jun was very patient with the Uchiha. As he ever was. He honed that little bit of patience and acceptance in his time in the land of water. He'd met plenty of strange and fantastic people in his time there. Like a certain nine year old Kage for instance.  He shrugged that way. Jun was a pretty thorough type of guy and went to great lengths to make sure that Palace fully understood not only the mechanics of the jutsu, but also the philosophy behind it.

Of course palace wasn't the only one who got to learn something from this little outing. RIGHT PALACE? Oh no Jun too had managed to pick up some knowledge. Turns out that Palace was actually an incredibly skilled Genjutsu user. Just like jun! Well not just like jun, but close enough. Jun was a journeyman genjutsu artist at best. However it seemed that Palace a good leg up on him when it came to that department.  However she was kind enough to share her knowledge with jun. After all Jun had been so kind as to share his own knowledge of the Body Flicker technique.

Now jun was no noob when it game to genjutsu so at least Palace hadn't had to start at the very beginning. Which was good for  Jun, and palace. She seemed like she'd been at her ropes end from before the beginning so the less Jun annoyed her the better things would be for the both to them. This particular jutsu was a little more complicated than any of the others that Jun had ever undertaken. Genjutsu was pretty hard to begin with, but this one was far and above the rest. So far Jun had been able to alter peoples perceptions of small details in the world, even bring about pain to those he desired. This genjutsu was different. It dropped the enemy off in a completely diffrent location, as well as created fake entities. It was something called the Cat Genjutsu. While fun sounding at first, became a big bother after a while. Jun wasn't too comfortable creating an entire landscape in an opponents mind, but with a little hard work nothing was behind him. He was a Watarase after all!
Hard work was their virtue, and no one, no one not even a Uchiha was going to smudge on that glorious reputation.

And thus it was that with the help of Palace Jun had been able to recreated the Genjutsu she'd shown him. He placed it on her for only a few seconds. He created a dark hall way filled with furry little stray cats, and right before they were able to attack her he ended it! A successful trial!

Jun smiled at his newly acquired friend! "I think this is the start to a beautiful relationship!" He then blushed furiously. "Um, um,um. I didn't mean relationship relationship. I meant friendship! We're friends! Just friends! Okay see you later bye!" He giggled in a supremely nervous manner as he all but sprinted away.
