[LW Fight] The Mask of a Fierce Deity

He wore a cloak that masked the peddlers figure completely, even making it hard to distinguish whether or not the peddler was a guy or a girl. the voice would not help either. "Seems I have more company, seems like there are festivities going on out here. Can I pehaps interesty you in purchasing some of my wears? huehuehue" the peddler would laugh slightly not directing it at the new comer

Peddler::

“Huehuehue That mask? Hmmmm that mask is priceless. I cannot in good concious sell you that mask without warning you of the curse. It is said that that mask was once worn by a great warrior. One how's powers saved the world countless times. However the one who gains possession of the mask is visited by an apparition of the masked warrior seeking to get the Mask back. I would only be able to give you the mask if you were able to defeat him....otherwise you would have to pry it from my fingers.”

The Peddler was deadly serious. His normal singsong joke making giggling self was quite quiet this time around.

Taika had made his choice, it could have been a more interesting choice. This peddler had wished to see a bit more battle but the man had asked to fight the spirit. “Huehuehue, Spirit indeed... spirit indeed.” Taika would respond with "So" Taika began "To fight the spirit, do I just have to put it ...”

Taika would be asleep before he even slumped over. “Sweet dreams...huehuehue”


Taika would awaken in a ghostly realm of pure white standing facing a ghastly figure holding a sword and shield. He is silent and points his sword directly at taika in challenge.

A mysterious voice would say, “A sword weilds no strength unless the hand that holds it has courage.” It was the only thing he would say. With a fluid motion the specter would attack sheild held as the ready. The blow would be aimed at his opponents right shoulder. The specter obviously would wield his sword in his left hand and shield in the right. The specter would begin with sword play but by no means was he helpless at ranged. Should the blow land it would slash across the boys chest and knock him flying backward.

The Shade having his attack parried would jump backward avoiding the next slash.  As his opponent would do the same and aim his blade at him he would quickly withdraw a small object from behind him and hurl it at his attackers the spinning object aimed for the mans hand to disarm his sword (throw speed 160).  As the sword extended the Hero's shade blocked the extending sword with his shield knocking it off to the right.  Regardless of whether or not his projectile attack would land it would arc back and return to his hand.

with the immediate attack out of the way the SHade would pull back the string of a bow and fire a shot aimed at the opponents sword arm shoulder (firing speed 150 sharpness 50).  upon firing he would immediately be holding his sheild and sword again.  With the distraction attack away he would run and leap into a sky to ground Jump attack.

The Skeleton would smile if he had cheeks, or skin, or muscles. His boomerang attack was successful and his arrow flew at his enemy. But the blood for the enemies eyes gave way to a new wonder. The black flames that licked at his bow for fractions of an infintesimal second as it dissappeared into an unknown space was not long enough to manipulate, as the bow was immediately swapped for the sword and shield. The boy had some potential however. Even after being hit in the shoulder by an arrow he was somehow able to make handsigns at astonishing speeds. The boy would run away and perform another set of seals blood running from his shoulder as the movements dug the arrow deeper. Copies of the boy seemed to pop out of no where. But the legendary Hero had something to deal with that. Taking an step back with his right foot and cover his right hand with his left. As the 23 clones who had charged him were close the skeleton would unleash the magic spell slamming his fist into the ground and projecting a swirling vortex of flames around him with a power of 100 and a speed of 50. this vortex would only encompass the clones that charged him spreading out 30 meters.

As an Honorable warrior he waited as his opponent bandaged himself. He stayed at the ready shield held in defense and his sword raised behind and over the shield pointing at his opponent. He hopped back and forth on the balls of his feet preparing to move at the first motion.

He didn't know what to do about the slug though. He had a lot of items in his “pack” but unfortunately no salt.

The Shade's magic seemed too slow and didn't catch all the clones in the burst. It was of no matter the Skeletal figure was just proving a point. Clones weren't enough to bring him down. The firebalss also were poorly executed as the clones were not close enough to land the blow. They would simply fall short. It seemed the young one still needed to work on his spacial awareness. He used the moment to look through his lens of truth for a moment. Finding what he was looking for he pulled a hood over his head. And then he was gone. He would appear behind the real Taika at a speed of 400 bashing him with his shield before taking off his Bunny hood. The blow would be enough to send him sprawling but had no lethality in it. He would then perform a spin attack slashing the boy, the clones that were assisting him as well as the giant slug thing.

The skeleton would deflect all the swords thrown at him with his spin attack. However their attacks didn't seem to have much bit as the clones subsequently dissapeared from over exertion. As the slug spit at him he swung a massive leaf blasting the attack back at the large slug. Suddenly he was completely surrounded with clones the skeleton shook his head. The boy relied too much on attacking from a distance. Looking through his lens of truth he found the real challanger. At a speed of 230 the skelton shot out a strange looking gadget at the real Taika. As the hook would connect with the boy he would find himself in the position the Skeleton was in and the 2500 kunai would target the boy instead. Pulling out a bomb he would throw it into the mess along with the kunai for extra measure. This would detonate and explode at a speed of 100 and a range of 20 meters the power would be 50.

The boy would find that he was not yanked toward the Skeleton but their positions were completely reversed, such was the ability of the switch hook. However the boy was still capable of subing out of the attack.

The skelton would watch as the mass of enemies ran at him and he would continue to be dissappointed with the boys inability to fight the hero. As the barrage of attacks came the skeleton would raise his hands to the heavens. A blue aura would surround him. Those that touched it would take damage of a power of 60 and all ranged attacks would be returned to their caster at twice the speed and 1.5 the damage.

The aura would last even through the attack by susano'o and through the next post.

'So that's how it was going to be?'  The Skeletal figure popped a cork out of a bottle and Drank the contents.  The interior of the Blue Diamond around him Glowed brightly and Shattered.  As the attacks Rained down Each and every one of the were blocked.  In front of the 64 clones and the Man who spawned them stood a 50 M tall Man Fully rejuvenated to his prime he wore Red chain mail, Gloves and braceltes, Boots with small wings on them, a mask that looked hideous and held 2 massive swords one in each hand.  The swords themselves were much taller than even the massive man was.  After he blocked all the susano'o's attack simultaneously he knocked up all the blades and suddenly glowed a faint gold color.  The mark on the back of his hand glowed brightly.  “Devine Whirlwind”

Link would do a double fully charged massive spin attack creating a wirling tornado.  The magic power was enough to break even the susano'os mightly armor.

After the Spin attack the rejuvinated link would return to his Skeletal non big size the mask falling off his face. Dropping the biggoron sword He would hold himself up by the great fairy sword stuck in the ground. The magic he had once mastered was now the only thing holding him in this place. and he had expended way too much in that last attack. With his Enemy approaching The shade drew out a mask and set it on his face. Raising his face he would scream at the sky and then vanish.

He would reappear behind Taika. "Your Hand has no courage." He would say. he now looked like a fierce deity the was sealed in the mask. Just then all the clones and the massive slug and even all the trees around the two of them would explode as light rose from the ground in a specific pattern of 3 triangles joined vertexically. Fierce Diety link and Taika would be standing in the center. "A real Hero would pit his strength against his Enemies to assure that his power was greater. You send in imitation to wear down your enemy so you don't have to fight them at full strength." The man began to glow. "But it seems I can not pass on my final wisdom. I have lost but you may claim the measly prize you came for. but my secret technique will stay with me." With that the man bursting into nothingness and the mask would fall to the ground.

eh Taika wakes up finding the mask in his hand. Huehuehue the peddler would laugh quietly to himself from a nearby roof top before dissappearing without being seen or heard."
