Arcanis trains Empty
PostSubject: Arcanis trains    Arcanis trains EmptyMon Jan 26, 2015 2:03 am

Arcanis woke up planning on spending the entire day training. There was a mountain near by and that is where he planned on doing a lot of his training there. He work up and rolled half way out of bed facing the floor. His muscles ripple as he begins to do elevated push ups. He does 300 reps before starting on each arm. He had been doing this every day since he was 10. His father was strong and disciplined and Arcanis had learned everything he knew from his father. When he was 6 his father had taken him fishing. The trip was supposed to be fun but his father was too strict to enjoy a simple trip like that. Arcanis' breath began to grow labored as he switched arms. The trip ended with his father disappointed in him because he wasn't fast enough to catch a fish with his hand. His father was the sort of man who would throw his kid off a cliff to teach them to survive. Arcanis remembered the feel of the water rushing by pulling at his legs, threatening to wash him away. He remembered the the feeling of total surrender as he wished he could be washed away by the river. His father probably wouldn't have noticed if he had just went with the flow of the river. He began his reps of crunches and sit ups. Arcanis lived to become stronger. His father had left him with so much to learn. Today he was taking on one of the hardest lessons his father had left him. Today Arcanis was going to start he journey to learn the water element. He stood up in a fluid motion and walked to his shower. The cool water focused his attention. After his shower Arcanis packed his bag and set out for the mountains. He started with a jog but soon he broke into a full run. He couldn't complete his training fast enough. Finally he can start learning his fathers jutsu. His clans jutsu. His Legacy. Arcanis focused channeling his chakra into his feet bursting forward with an increase of speed. Arcanis drained his body of chakra by pouring it into his muscles and legs. He was 3 quarters the way up the mountain by nightfall.

Arcanis set up his camp site with the last of his chakra waning. Finally, his strength was drained, Arcanis started training. “Why do you do this?” Kurama spoke to him in his head. “I always used to train this way back home.” Arcanis couldn't help but think of the old world he had felt behind. He knew that one day he would be able to return but till then he had to train. He had to learn to utilize this worlds laws to his advantage. He punched trees for an hour followed by kicking it for an hour. When he finished his body felt like stone. “When you reach the point that your body gives up, that is when a true mage thrives.” his father's words echo in his mind as his eyes and mind threaten to black out. Arcanis smiled and opened his eyes wide filled with new determination. Sitting down Arcanis began the second part of his training. The training of his mind. To become focused the mind must sift through everything that it is currently working on and solve all it's problems. “The mind must work as hard as the body and become broken as the body. Only then can you magic be susceptible to influence.” Arcanis was so focused he didn't even notice it starting to rain, or when it stopped.

Arcanis opened his eyes as the sun rose. Standing up he could feel the lack of energy in his body. It had been hard to get Kurama to not keep replenishing his body. If Kurama did then he would not be able to learn as fast. Moving away from his camp he focused on manipulating his chakra. His father had told him the best time to train was when your body was at it's limits. An enemy wouldn't permit you to recharge and rest so you should not allow your self your full power when learning new abilities.

Arcanis started with a simple water manipulation recalling his fathers movements while they had been fishing. His father moved in fluid motiong turning the water. Being careful not to “break” the surface. Sliding motions and swaying motions. Water is a constant the flows in one way. Arcanis could feel the particles of water around him. The puddles cool and calm. The smell of the water in the air. Arcanis focused his chakra combining it into a pool, like the water. The water was like a million perfect spheres rotating around each other. Infusing the water on the ground with his chakra Arcanis pulled the fluid toward him. Arcanis wasn't upset that it didn't work. He was exhausted and he could feel his chakra dwindling again. Practice. It was his fathers favorite word. His father used to watch him train for hours so that Arcanis could do the things his father could. Arcanis ran everyday. The punched a post every day. He worked hard so his father would be proud of him. He would work until he couldn't stand because he loved it when his father would crouch next to him and smile telling him good job.

Rage poured from Arcanis' very soul. The water on the ground lashed about shearing bark off trees and cracking rocks. Arcanis knelt and screamed into the ground. His fathers smile. He missed his father. His father was the only thing that kept him going. He punched the ground. Gritting his teeth Arcanis stood. He felt a familiar feeling that had been with him since his parents died. The water around him came together and formed a figure in front of him. The form took on a shape mirroring Arcanis. “Why do you even exist” a voice in Arcanis' head asked in an alarming clarity. “I exist because I am Uzumaki. We always-” “DIE!” the voice cut him off. “Cause that is all your clan is good for. Rolling over and being slaughtered.” the voice startled him but his fear quickly turned to anger. “Who do you think you are addressing me like that.” Arcanis drew his sword and cut through the water figure. Somehow the water figure seemed to smile before dissipating. The anger turned to surprise as words rose in his throat. “Didn't you realize? I'm you!” the voice that burst through his lips was not his own. Arcanis closed his eyes and fell back onto the ground passing out.

He woke in a strange place. The echoing halls held a strange reddish glow to them. “Arcanis I've been meaning to talk to you.” The voice echoed through the halls. Arc recognized it as Kurama's voice even before turning the corner into the large room in which the beast sat. “Most ninja have to put me in a cage until they are able to control my full power themselves. It keeps me from killing them.” Kurama said this completely matter of factly with no real intention at malice. “But you hold yourself in a cage making it pointless to try to break out. And something about you makes me wonder how it will all end. I may be a creature of Hatred but not of stupidity. And I know for a fact that I'm not the only demon you have trapped in here. Be careful. Too many demons in one place...they'll tear the place apart.”

When Arcanis awoke he was soaking wet from his water training. But he could feel the element around him. The images before he passed out were replaced with determination. What kurama said made him aware of what had happened the night before. Arc for some reason had always been aware of the other voice in his head. But he had to put that aside for now. It wasn't enough to move the water. He need to to learn to control it. Starting with being able to use it quickly manipulate it. Arcanis felt his chakra was about halfway back. Should be enough. Arcanis pulled the water up and swirled it around his body like a hula hoop. He did this for an hour till he was sure he could do it with out pause or hesitation and he started to work on some thing more complicated. Arcanis began to spin the water and shoot blasts of water at tree for accuracy training. He spent hours practicing hitting trees. When he just barely missed he observed the trees getting rent by the water. Arcanis spends hours manipulating the water and reflecting on his life. Things become very clear as is the water cleaned his mind. Arcanis walked back to his camp feeling tired. But it was only the first day. Tomorrow was going to be harder. Tomorrow he would try to do the jutsu in tandum with the power of the cloak of chakra that Kurama had allowed him to access.

Arcanis woke up his chakra almost fully restored. Today he was going to develop a new technique using the water element and he was going to practice it. He drew water from the ground realizing that most of it dried up over night. Arcanis walked a ways down the path pulling as much water as he could into a sphere. It wasn't a lot but he thought he could form something out of it. Remembering the cutting edge of the water Arcanis drew his blade and formed the water around the blade. Arcanis struck a nearby tree with the blade. His chakra ripped at the tree's bark. He watched in pride as the tree cracked and creaked. Arcanis smiled and unleashed everything he had on the tree, arcing the blade leaving a wake of chakra behind. The cloak made the blade strike hard and fast. It was like the world slowed down. He left the tree completely destroyed. He laughed hefting the sword. He put away the sword and drew the water into a blade around his hand and slashed at another tree. The tree was ripped apart. The water element felt good. It cut well but not as well as his wind cutters. He smiled and drew a symbol in the air with his new water chakra. He needed more practice. After resting a while he began his climb down the mountain to a lake he had past. The water there would make a perfect medium to practice larger scale jutsu with the power of the nine tails.

Arcanis set up his campsite by the lake again. The lake was pristine. The light glinted off the lake reflecting the light of the early but Arcanis didn't care. Arcanis only saw the water for what it was. A tool. Everything was a tool to Arcanis. The water was only there to help him. Nothing more. The water pulsed as he walked out over the water. He focused his chakra and summoned the water to his call transforming it and mixing it with his own chakra he drove the the massive wave outward feeling the crash of it over the far shore. He felt completely drained. He had mixed to much chakra into his wave. He felt his control on what little reserves he had slipping. The water felt cool as he splashed into it. He had to remember to regulate his chakra better. Because of the size of the water he was moving it took more chakra to move that most elements. He summoned the cloak again and pushed it to it's limits. He pulled more and more chakra from it requiring more from it than he ever did before. He then practiced focusing the cloak and using the chakra limbs to execute the jutsu's for him. Arcanis drew the water off of the lake in a long strand. And turned it into a lance hardened with chakra. He lanced it toward a nearby tree. The water broke the tree in half. Arc smiled but exsaution hit him hard. Arcanis decided he would rest for the rest of the day.

When Arcanis woke he decided to do more physical training. Arcanis began the day with a 10 mile run. While he ran he focused his chakra and drew water into a tight formation around him as he ran. He focused hard and began to use his water walking technique to run on the water he controlled. It was exilerating. He created a pathway out of the water and ran along it as he climbed higher. He released his control of the water and somersaulted through the air. He spun in slow arcs watching the world turn around him. He spiraled quickly and brought a vortex up to meet him. He dove into the column of water and out the side skating over the water. He loved the water he always had.

When he was little his parent had taken him to the beach and he had loved playing in the water and splashing his friends. He had loved it. He remembered one trip his parents had taken him to a resort where there were a bunch of people. He had made friends. Those were happier days. One of his friends name was Vince. The guy was awesome they had wrestled the first time they met because Arcanis was jealous of him. But Vince told him that this was going to be his last vacation. His friend had developed an illness that even the high level med mages of his village couldn't treat. At the time Arcanis didn't understand it but he decided it wasn't important because this kid was his rival. Later he had learned that Vince had died. He had been sad and that could have been one of the triggers that took away Arcanis' happiness.

Water. Arcanis analysed everything. Water HHO 2 parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. Water covers 71% of the Earth's surface and is essential for human existence. Water can be broken down into 2 common elements. Hydrogen and oxygen. Common in the air which was second nature to Arcanis. Water is created when lightning energizes the the hydrogen and oxygen particals. Water is simply a next step to Arcanis' evolution. Water is heralded as The Universal Solvent. With his control he would be able to pull water apart into gaseous particles and use them for his wind jutsu as well as combining the wind and lightning element to form water for his water jutsu.

Arcanis stopped again to sleep but his dreams were invaded by strange symbols and visions of other worldly things. Strange beasts with multiple heads and men with metal limbs. He didn't understand his dream. But dreams meant very little to Arcanis. Dreams are merely a mental projection of processes being carried out by the brain. But the brain can be influenced and when training his jutsu he was sure he had been influenced. His brain comprehended much more than a normal persons can. Spacial jutsu stretched his mind and his understanding only grew. While passing through space he may have picked up signals from another plane of existence. It rained again in the night. The sounds soothed his troubled mind. Another aspect of water is it's healing properties. Water has always been revered for it's ability to absorb and dilute substances as well as sooth burns and clean wounds. Arcanis slept into the morning.

When he awoke he stood and stretched. Another run was needed. “Kurama would you like to run with me? We could have a pleasant talk.” “Hmmmfff” Kurama snorted and Arc could almost see him turning his nose the other direction and going back to sleep. Arcanis began by running around the lake several dozen times. His mind was elswhere as he lept ovfer rocks and ducked under low hanging branches. He began to think about his dream and developing the jutsu to find the source of those signals. He ran circles around the lake. He decided to push his speed once more. he focused his chakra into his feet and enveloped himself in a cloak of wind pushing his speed even further. He would become even stronger once he developed this water element. Lightning rippled from his wake. Every part of his being was pushed to go faster. He no longer ducked under branches or lept over rocks he merely blew them aside. A rut began to form in his wake. He ran all morning. He loved running. It was rythmic and soothing. He was able to figure out his world in the space of time that he would take to do his morning run. He sprinted toward a large rock and stopped releasing all of his energy cutting the boulder in two. Arcanis stared at the ground and then slowly raised his eyes to the trees several meters away. Body flickering to the nearest tree Arcanis started punching the tree. Hit hits were solid as the bark and then the tree began to splinter. He threw punches and elbows and knees breaking the tree apart. Arcanis continued on to the next tree crushing it. “Power...More- RAAAH” with one stroke Arcanis destroyed a tree. His chakra flowed through his body toward his arm. He struck down the whole grove. He razed the entire area. Using the felled trees Arcanis began to practice his balance.

Balancing the logs on his out stretched hands. Arcanis crushed the trees with his bare hands. Arcanis heard a grunt behind him. He spun around still holding the trees and saw a boar running straight at him. Arcanis rolled his eyes and smashed the pathetic boar with the two tree trunks. At that moment two kunai came out of nowhere. One embedded itself in Arcanis's left shoulder effectively immobilizing it and other sliced his leg slowing him drastically. Arcanis drew his sword deflecting 2 shuriken and another kunai. Arcanis dove behind the tree hearing 4 more shuriken hit the tree. He hadn't figured out where the assailant was hiding. “Kurama?” “There are two of them.” This was going to be hard with the damages he had taken. Arcanis took out his two kunai and threw them at his attackers. At the same time Arcanis dove into the water. Arcanis washed his wounds while in the water. Arcanis located one of his attackers again. He swirled his arms gathering the water into a large tube and flowed over to the assaliant. The water pressure flooding through the gap knocked the assailant off balance as Arcanis slid through riding the water. His sword was a flash but he wasn't quick enough. The sword bit into the log that was used to a substitution jutsu. Arcanis sent a burst of wind chakra through his sword slicing all the way through the log. Arcanis body flickered over to the opposing ninja and struck at him with his blade. The opponent grabbed Arcanis's hand and kneed Arcanis in the stomach. Arcanis flew back losing his grip on the sword. As he flew back he rotated to deliver a kick to the shoulder of the second attacker who chose that time to leap out and attack. The kick allowed Arcanis to regain his ground and jump off. He swung a punch at the first and dodged a punch from the second as he dispatched the first with a one two combo. The second withdrew a chain and wrapped it around Arcanis' wrist pulling him off-balance. The foot found it's home in Arcanis jaw as he flew backwards. Arcanis was pissed. “What the hell do you want?” Arcanis said as he slid slowly toward his sword. “We want you. Well not all of you. Just your head. There has been a bounty placed on your head. Your own village hates you enough to want you dead.” Arcanis didn't believe him. No one cared about him enough to think he was in the way. Yes he had power but he never used it destructively. This guy and his comrade probably just wanted his money. Arcanis grabbed his sword and flashed behind the guy holding the sword to his neck. “don't move.” Arc growled in his ear trying hard to be menacing. The ninja tried to flash out of his grip and Arcanis had no choice but to slit his throat. “these are rogue ninja's” Arcanis thought that rogue nins were stronger than this. Arcanis turned as a kunai whistled by Arcanis ears. Arcanis blocked the next two with his sword turning it at the flashing blade cut cleanly through the inferior blade, And dodged to the right as the next soared wide. The second pathetic fool decided to get back up. Arcanis smiled. He dropped his katana and ran at the nin dodging two kunai and flashing to right in front of the guy. Spinning around he crouched and kicked the jerk into the air. Crouching he shot into the air after him. Arcanis punched the nin in the side rotating and kicking him out over the water. Laughing hysterically Arcanis followed. As the ninja stood up on the water Arcanis flashed behind him. Water lashed up around the ninja's wrists and around his ankles. Arcanis struck the ninja in the back hard smiling at the satisfying crunch. The ninja stayed unmoved gripped by the water locks. Arcanis still laughing struck again and again crushing the mans ribs. Drawing out wind chakra Arcanis began to cut the body to pieces. The man was long dead. The fish would hide the evidence of Arcanis's dark personality.

The first time he had shown a dark side was when his parents had died. Gradually Arcanis came to accept the small dark recesses of his brain. His parents had been so kind to him but when they died no one even liked him anymore. It left a hole in his life. A hole that was filled by the void of his soul. He lived with that loneliness. But misery as a companion was not the best for a developing boys mind. But arcanis’ mind was superb he fought his soul for possession of his body. He was excellent but he didn’t care about other people. he actually didn’t care about anything but surviving. He was invincible. At least that is what he believed. And he wasn’t going to stop believing it. That is how he stayed alive. He didn’t call attention to himself. He merely lived. His parents would be proud at how well he survived.

The blood on his shirt and face didn’t bother him as he continued his run. His smile contradicted his tears. He wasn’t filled with hate. There was a small innocent part of himself hidden deep down that just stayed still watching himself in horror. Becoming weaker and weaker and weaker as his dark side took over. His chakra even had a blackened aura. But being powerful had it’s perks. Not caring what others thought of him made it so he could spend more brain power thinking as opposed to trying to please the people around him. Yes he got in trouble. But then again he didn’t care.

He ran back to the village, not before using the water to clean his clothes. He arrived at home and sat down to a meal as if nothing had happened. His meal consisted of only protein. His muscles would build over night for an even more grueling exercise than tonight. Arcanis laughed at that thought. After he ate he went into the bathroom and took a shower. He grabbed bandages and healing salve out of the cupboard. He wraped his wounds and focused his chakra to start healing his body. The pain was nothing. He had a philosophy. Pain was merely weakness leaving the body. The more pain the harder his body and mind would become. After showering he brushed his teeth and went to bed. He made sure to fucus his chakra through the night on healing his torn skin and tissue.

When he woke he sat up in his bed. The low throb in his muscles told him that he hadn't punished his body enough. He sat up and twisted in his bed. He got into push up position with his hands on the floor and his feet up on the bed. The inclined position worked out his chest and arms better than with his feet on the floor. His pecs and bicepts still felt sore from the cuts and the stab wound he had taken the day before. But his chakra had done a good job healing the surface. “I helped as well Arc.” He heard Kurama say. Arc decided that he would give the beast a little of his own medicine and simply ignor the fox's comments. His muscles still needed work but the protein he had eaten for dinner was helping build muscle as well. Today he would attend a short meeting with a couple other ninja from the surrounding area but he didn't expect much from the meeting. Formalities about whether or not they wanted to lead a group on missions. It wasn't a choice but Arcanis liked to think of it as one. Nobody ever asked him and he never volunteered. Today might be different though. For some reason he felt oddly curious aout the goings on of the village. What the rouge had said to him the day before caught in his mind. Was there actually a bounty on his head? Didn't really matter. His village wasn't that well known for it's power. Only a couple people in the village were able to stand up to him. “If I ever did anything that needed to be stood up for.” Arcanis just sat back. No body messed with him. Because he didn't care. He didn't want to cause trouble. He just didn't care if someone wanted to start something with him. However if the village wanted to start some thing he wanted to know. Arcanis steped out of his house and ran to the meeting. Running was good for him even though it was slow and tedious. It built speed and strength and stamina all off which would help him the next time his life was on the line. The meeting went uneventful but he decided to speak up for the first time ever. “Yesterday I was attacked. My assailant said that he was attempting to collect a bounty on my head. A bounty that was placed by this village.” The group went quiet. The speaker presiding on the meeting spoke up. “No one in the village has put a bounty on you. However it does seem that someone desires to do our village harm by spreading false information and attacking our citizens. This may mean very little to you Arcanis but you need to know that everyone in our village is proud to have you. And to tell the truth getting to you would destroy a large power in this city.” Arcanis was content with that answer for now. But now it was time to push his body again he would think about all this later.
